Day 5

Today was a day of relaxing and seeing Romania and the beauty that makes it so. We saw peloş castle, which was very grandiose and fancy. It's a bit much.

Then we saw draculas castle....love love love! It makes me happy seeing it.

So now we ate KFC and I'm updating from there.

I apologize for the short post. There isn't much to say today.

Day 4

Well, sorry for the late update. There is an explanation for it. I didn't hide my phone well enough in my bag, so Catalin put in the glovebox. I was not aware until after breakfast.

So yesterday was a site seeing and shopping day. Cucheşcu's palace was obnoxiously large and the tour was quite boring. Shopping was a lot of fun though. The sales were crazy! I got a few things for school, like sweaters and such. Tonight we are going shopping again, due to everyone else's request. We had an awesome dinner at pizza hug as well. I have eaten so well here! I think resturants need to take lessons from over here. So should many of the guys in America.

We had an amazing church service on Sunday morning. It was all about trusting in GOD's plan for you. Also, GOD has given you a vision and He will make sure that it will prosper. This message stuck to me like glue. I was fairly certain that I probably wouldn't be a music major. I just kinda gave up on it. I haven't played all summer and my jaw is still in major pain. But why does that meN I can't be a music major? I can do all things, not some things, through Christ that strengthens me. I know that GOD is going to heal me. I can't give up on hat dream. I realized that this is what GOD was talking to me about when the skewed musician on the worship team prayed over me.

Well, the showers open. I should probably shower. Lunch is soon. Tomorrow is our day in the mountains! It is also jared's birthday. He is kind of the fasion expert on our team.

Day 3

Today was eye opening, amazing, and depressing all at one time. We did street ministry today. I did street ministry last time I was here, but that was at night. This was during the day, and it was a totallly different experience.

Street minstry, to those of you that dont know, is a team 11 people went out to the abandoned buildings and areas that the homeless people lived. We brought them sandwiches and medicine.

The first building we went to had at least 4 families in it. We got to see where they lived. One of the families came to the church service I gave my testimony at. It was mom and dad and a 3 year old girl named Alexandra, and an 8 year old boy named ari. One of the parents had a job, but it was low paying job. They were putting ari through pre school so he could have a future. He had TB for 2 months, and is now on the mend. Catalin brought them medicine. When we were in their home, they were honored to have us there. Even though they didn't have much, they wanted to do things for us. they also apologized for a mess they had or if the place didn't look very nice. The father of this familiy accepted Christ on the Thursday we were there, and he remembered me from my testimony. As he was holding his daughter, he looked at me and said, "this is my princess." He even said it in English. The reason why this meant so much to me is that I said that o was my dad's princess. It was so powerful.

We did go to three other sites. But I will tell you more about the other places when we get back. I need to go to sleep now, so talk to you later!

Va iubesc pe toti!

Day 2

Well, it is day 2. I am very tired as it is 12 o clock at the moment. I really want to be sleeping, but I'm too wired to sleep. I hate it when that happens. But today was truly amazing. I went WAY out of my comfort zone today.

We went to a special needs orphanage today. I must admit, I was terrified. I don't really ever interact wig special needs kids and this was my first time really working with them. I talked to one of the regular volunteers and worked with her and bianca. Bianca was very awesome. I had to feed her McDonald's in pieces. Why? Because they get so excited about seeing new people and going to eat really delicious foods, they will eat it so fast they choke. It was a fun experience, and I'm glad I did it, despite the fact that I was shaking really badly and wanted run away as fast as possible. God is really working on me on this trip!

We have street ministry tomorrow. That should be fun!

Last night, I gave my testimony at the teen challenge church. I was so nervous. I wrote everything down in my beetles notebook on the plane. I figured that I would be distracted by the translator so that's why I wrote it down. I have a kind of short attention span. But I didn't need it. God spoke through me, and I know I touched people there.

I also saw florin at the church. He says hello to my mom and dad!

That's all for now. Good night! Love you!

Day one

Good morning everyone! It is currently 6 am Thursday. Yesterday we went from Amsterdam to Bucharest. We are now written the teen challenge center and we had a good night sleep. This mostly from the fact that we had extremely annoying jetlag. Everyone was so tired! I took a ten minute nap and that got me pretty far.

Dinner last night was AMAZING! Oltiţa's mom is an amazing cook. We had these potatoes with carrots in the and chicken with a sweeter breading. We also had cucumbers and tomatoes, but didn't try the tomatoes. Ew. My favorite was the dessert (of course!). It tasted like Apple pie but in bar form. Mmm! Am I making you hungry? ;)

It's great to see Catalin and Oltiţa again. I ask that you keep Oltiţa in your prayers. She had a herniated disc in her lower back and had to have surgery. She has a lot of numbness in one her legs and toes. She says hello to my mom and dad. So does J.J. and Danny.

We have a church service tonight and I'm giving my testimony. DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN! Pray for me....

Today we are working at the center for a while and perhaps street ministry? I don't remember. I do know that on Sunday we are going to Bucharest and seeing cuceşcu palace and also shopping. I can't wait. We have an awesome time planned in Romania!

Te iuebesc pe toţi!

Airport success!

Well, that was a long eight hour flight. The plane we rode on had two floors! It's the biggest plane I have ever seen. However, leg room sucked. I sat by people on the team that I didn't know, Nd I fighting know them better. I also got no sleep on the plane, so I am really tired...looks like I'm sleeping on the way to Romania!

I am currently in Amsterdam. I went to Starbucks because....I dont know. The euro is expensive! 1.42 our dollars to one of theirs. It's crazy. My coffee was ten dollars o.o

Tome to board. Love love love!

Less than one day!

Hello everyone!

How are you all? I know I gave this address to many people, so welcome if you have never been here before!

It is already less than one day away. I can't believe how fast time flies. I am officially packed, except for three things which I need in the morning. I am also taking 30 beanie babies to give out to the children at the orphanages and in the streets. My wing man, Fitzy, is also coming with me again! He went last time and thoroughly enjoyed London. I am SO EXCITED! And excited is putting it quite mildly.

This past weekend, our whole team was commissioned by the church. The whole congregation of Pathways prayed over us! We are so blessed to have their support. My cousin.godmother, Gina, came, along with my Aunt Connie and Chad, my cousin. It was wonderful to see them at church! I hope they enjoyed it.

Well, now it is time to chill, play cribbage with my mom, and watch Hawaii 5-0! Hopefully i chill down a bit because I am REALLY EXCITED and it might be hard to sleep.......

Single Digits!

Well, I am 9 days away from my trip! I can't believe how fast the summer has gone by. I remember when there was 63 days to go. And now, I have to have patience for these next 9 days. It's so easy to say, "I wish it was this day," when really, we should all be living in the present. We need to be grateful for everyday that GOD gives us and not want to rush them.

I officially have two more days of work left. I am excited and shockingly, sad. I made a lot of friends at work and I will definitely miss them.

Well, I know this is a short post, but the next time I post will be on my way to Romania!!!!!!! Please pray for my team and for Teen Challenge in Bucharest. We will be residing there for our trip. Also, please pray for my cousin, Rebecca, who is currently in Jamaica.

Va iubesc pe toti!
